Parent And Grandparent Permanent Residency
If you wish to help your parents or grandparents obtain a permanent residency in Canada, we can help you. With permanent residency, citizen’s parents and grandparents can live and work in Canada legally, without having to renew their visa.
In order to work towards gaining a permanent residency for your parents and/or grandparents, you must fulfill the following conditions:

- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Evidence of a parental relationship, such as a birth certificate.
- Evidence of medical insurance coverage with an insurance company from Canada for the minimum of one year.
- Meet specific income criteria that prove your ability to sponsor your parents and grandparents.
- Demonstrate your financial ability to sponsor your parents and grandparents for three consecutive years.
- A written sponsorship agreement that commits you (sponsor) to financially support your parents or grandparents (sponsored person) for a specified number of years (up to 20).
The Canadian residency office may require additional documentation. TIIS Canada will help you prepare the basic as well as complex documentation for the permanent residence application for your parents and/or grandparents.
